NYAF focuses on enriching the lives of adoptees of their post placement families, and strives to provide support to families that are involved with adoption through scholarships, financial support, and community enrichment.

The main goal of the National Youth Adoption Foundation is to help adopt African American adoptees and get them connected to resources within their community for support. NYAF also seeks to provide African American adoptees with funding and scholarship opportunities for a higher education.
